THE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE (because it's cheaper than years of therapy.)
This is for the givers, the lovers, the generous open souls, the gentle pure hearts and the ones who always gave more than they received. To those who always poured into the wrong cups until theirs was left empty, but always for the right reasons. For the people who have allowed other people’s darkness to dim their own light. For the butterflies that will hopefully awaken from their chrysalis and realize they are no longer caterpillars.
My first book is for my fellow kindred spirits who also move and live with light and good intentions with no hidden agendas as we travel through our mortal test.
People ask me every day, "Michael, how did you get to this place?" and within the pages of The Book Of Remembrance are just a few of my answers. The things I have learned and unapologetically implemented along the path as a giver, living in a world that has a tendency to constantly take.
As I say in my book, stop asking the vampire why it keeps draining you & ask yourself why you keep showing it your neck. The monster cannot take from you when nothing is offered.
My personal metamorphosis began years ago when I took full responsibility for my role as a giver, owned it and stopped allowing access to those who showed they were only capable of taking while never giving. The vampire does not stop; it will just find another victim but never worry... the sun always rises.
If any of this resonates deep within you it is for a reason and my genuine hope is that if you decide to give The Book Of Remembrance a chance, is that it leaves you better then before you found it.
